in a month or so (i'm technically in november) i'll be going up to new york city on christmas. this is like the only time my parents decide to show their asian-ness off o_o. for dinner on the first night we're going to esti hana which i don't think means anything in japanese but it's a japanese restuarant that has amazing dumplings. we're also gonna go to aji ichiban which is this candy store *stocks up on gluca* oh man, pocky high. *cause i'm just obsessed like that* and since there's no kinokuniya in d.c., we're going to the one on west 49th street so i can stock up on:

and some others if i can remember. i need to gie aja a christmas gift too. also in the car yesterday, i found this korean bookstore SUIEWMON i think, so i'm gonna check that out after school.

i've been working on a commission aja is giving me. i'm drawin her friend's rp characters with garaa and itachi from naruto. i sent a half of one of them last night cause i liked it. i'm gonna try to finish it at least by saturday or sunday so i can get it off to kinkos and blow it up poster size and send it to aja.

besides that, i drew a PITATEN oekaki gift for ochiba-sama's friend miko-san because miko is taping sera myu for me. *obsessed*

so i got ichigo 100% and it's the best. it's in weekly shonen jump, but i got the first volume. omg, strawberry panties. i bet saitou would like it. and my brother sent me the first episode of pretty guardian sailor moon, a bit of it was hard to understand because some japanese they used i didn't know. but that is awesome, it's like power rangers except a bit different with better special effects. i'm gonna force ochiba or yuki-sama to tape it for me.

wonder if it'll still work even if american and european/japanese vcrs and electrical plugs are different. damn. i really gotta see the second episode where sailor mercury comes.

if you're in japan, watch it! it's at 7.30 on saturday morning on TBS

...ne, besides that, nothing much has happened. i looked at rabu hina today and i'm thinking of making my doujin pages look something like his.

does anyone notice how cyborg 009 and osamu tesuka-sama's style are really close? am i the only one who thinks that? even the page layout is the same. i wonder if cyborg 009's artist was like an aprentice for tezuka-sama.
